Maruti Suzuki's upcoming premium hatchback Baleno has been clicked once again while undergoing test runs in India ahead of its debut in the country.

Snapped by the folks at Car Blog India, the hatchback, which is popularly known by its codename YRA, is scheduled to make its market entry during the festive season of this year. Maruti Baleno will be the second car to be sold through the company's new premium Nexa showroom chains in India after S-Cross crossover.

Baleno, which made its maiden appearance recently at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, measures 3,995mm in length, 1,745mm in width and 1,470mm in height. In India, the car will sit above the company's popular Swift and will be competing against the likes of Hyundai Elite i20 and New Honda Jazz.

Under the hood, Baleno will pack the company's newly-developed 1.0-litre Boosterjet direct injection turbocharged petrol engine and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel motors along with the SHVS mild-hybrid system debuted with Ciaz hybrid.

Baleno is expected to come with 'V' shaped front grille, sweptback headlamps, daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps, ORVM's with integrated turn indicators and alloy rear spoilers.

As for pricing, Maruti is expected to price its new premium hatchback in the range Rs 7.5 to Rs 9 lakh.
