A new prototype of Maruti's upcoming YBA compact SUV has been caught on camera, giving us yet another view of the model before its arrival in the market.
Snapped by GaadiWaadi, as usual in the latest spy shots also the test mule is seen fully covered, thus not giving away any hint on the styling and the key details of the models. However, it would not be difficult to figure out the outline and over all body proportion of the YBA SUV from the images.
Likely to be offered in four variants in both petrol and diesel engine options in the country, Maruti YBA SUV is speculated to pack to be 1.2-litre K-Series or 1.3-litre diesel engine under the hood.
As for styling, YBA SUV gets Suzuki iV-4 concept SUV inspired look, which was seen at the 2013 Frankfurt motorshow. From what we have seen so far, Maruti YBA SUV is likely to flaunt angular tail lamps and a new smaller grille with horizontal slats. Other features expected include keyless entry, push start/stop button and touchscreen infotainment system.
Previous reports said the YBA will be christened as Vitara Brezza in India and the company has already registered the name.
YBA SUV, a model from the house of Maruti is tipped to make its grand India entry at the Auto Expo 2016 with a price tag starting around ₹5.5 lakh. In India, the model will chiefly rival Ford's popular SUV EcoSport.
