Jajpur, July 25 (ANI): Maoists surrendered before police under the rehabilitation scheme in Odisha as they decided to join mainstream. Two teenaged Maoists surrendered before Superintendent of Police in Jajpur district of the state. Additional Superintendent of Police, Pradipta Kumar Sahani, said on Friday that Nandu Palia alias Jata alias Ranjit of Baligotha village and Ghanashyam Samad alias Makara alias Santosh surrendered. The surrendered rebels would be rehabilitated according to the state government’s rehabilitation policy. Meanwhile, Sahani also said the Maoists surrendered voluntarily.
