Amkola, Nov 11 (ANI): Maoists killed three villagers and then set ablaze a vehicle in Amkola village in Bihar's Gaya District. The rebels swooped down on the village when the villagers where enjoying a cultural night. Villagers from the neighbouring villages were also present at the cultural event when the group of Maoists started firing indiscriminately. Hundreds of people lose their life in the violence, perpetrated by the rebels. The Maoist insurgents are estimated to number between 7000 hardcore fighters in nearly a third of India's 630 districts. While they have made few inroads into cities, they have spread into rural pockets in 20 of 28 states.
