Talking about her future plans, Manushi had said in a media interaction in November 2017, "I am really happy that we will be spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene and I will be joined by other Miss World sisters. That is what I am excited about. Bollywood is something which is not on my mind right now."
Earlier reports had stated that Karan Johar will launch her in the industry with Student of the Year 2. While we got excited to hear this news, the filmmaker then responded to it. In a media interaction, Karan Johar said, "There is no truth to the news yet. We are very proud of Manushi's achievements."
"I was hosting the show the year she won, so I have met her before and I did see potential in her. I look forward to meeting her... I haven't met her yet after she won the crown for India. But there has been nothing discussed yet," IANS reported.
Manushi brought the Miss World crown back to India after 17 long years. The last one to win the title from India was Priyanka Chopra in 2000.
Apart from her beauty and grace during the contest, Manushi was also praised for her winning answer, where she had said the profession that deserves highest salary and respect is that of a mother.
