Panaji/ New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar_s remark that Indian Muslims in Gulf countries are addressed as Hindus stirred a controversy on Thursday. Parrikar made the remark while interpolating in a discussion on archaeology during a session of the state legislative assembly on Wednesday. Political leaders accused Parrikar of trying to express his ideology of making India a Hindu nation. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that Indian and Hindu are two different things. Earlier Goa_s deputy chief minister Francis D_Souza had invited much criticism after he said that India is already a Hindu nation and all Indians in India are Hindus.
