New Delhi, May 17 (ANI): Decade-long journey of Manmohan Singh as Prime Minister came to an end on Saturday leaving behind a legacy of achievements and failures. Singh made history, becoming India's first Prime Minister from a minority community - he is a Sikh- and serving for longer than anyone other than a Nehru-Gandhi leader. Political analyst, Sanjay Kumar, said Singh, although, is best-known for his personal integrity, his term in office was marred by a string of corruption scandals. Earlier this year, Singh, 81, announced he would not serve at the helm, even if the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) won the election for a third consecutive term.
