Malayalam actress Manju Warrier is finally ready to make her debut in Tamil. She is all set to pair up with Arvind Swami in the film directed by Ramana of Thirumalai fame.

Ramana has admitted that he approached Manju Warrier and the talks are still on. The director has claimed that he will give further details about the project in the next few weeks.

The buzz says that Manju Warrier liked the story and is keen to act in the forthcoming movie, which has been titled as Vannam. She will reportedly begin the Kollywood film after the completion of her other projects.

The actress, who was recently seen in Karinkunnam Sixes, has signed debutant Antony Sony's film Care of Saira Bhanu and Gabrielum Malakhamarum. Manju Warrier, who had quit acting after marrying Dileep, returned to the films with How Old Are You following her separation from her husband. In quick succession, the 38-year old has acted in over five films and the actress has continued to get offers.

Coming to Ramana, the director was on a long break after being diagnosed with throat cancer.

On the other hand, Arvind Swami has returned to form with his last-year's hit film Thani Oruvan. He has a few interesting projects in his kitty and is getting ready for the release of Bogan.
