Excitement is high for the upcoming film of Mani Ratnam. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Nithya Menen and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. Now, Prakash has shared his excitement over working with the young actors in this latest flick.

"Dulquer n nithya Menon wow!! love working with these young breed of actors...With manirathnam n PC calling the shots life is richer!! Cheers," shared Prakash through Twitter

The shooting of the untitled film has begun in Chennai on 6 October and the makers have maintained high secrecy regarding the film.

The shooting news came into light when cameraman PC Sreeram tweeted about his next schedule with the ace director. Sreeram and Mani Ratnam last worked together for Tamil romantic drama, "Alaipayuthey" (2000), which had Madhavan and Shalini in the lead.

"Last day of shoot fr shanitabh to night, Will be starting mani film from October 6. I am walking the path with the force which guides me," tweeted Sreeram.

Similarly, Prakash had also shared his happiness of being part of the film.

"Super super charged up to be a part of mani rathnam s new film. Loved the script n the role he narrated to me. Life is richer. Cheers", tweeted Praksh.

AR Rahman has done the music of this film and has also confirmed that his son Ameen will croon a song for this flick.

Though nothing much is known about the project, rumours are that the film will be an urban love story based in Mumbai and Chennai.

Meanwhile, Dulquer and Nithya are yet to complete the shooting of their upcoming film "100 Days of Love", directed by Jenuse Mohamed. It was earlier scheduled to hit screens this November but sources close to the film revealed that the remaining shots will be taken once the lead actors complete their schedule with Mani Ratnam.

However, it is reported that the shooting of the Mani Rathnam directorial will go ahead for another three months. So it can be concluded that all Dulquer and Nithya fans have to wait till 2015 for their next release.
