Jose Mourinho and Manchester United have been in the hunt for a top striker to lead their attacking line next season. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic out till January and Antoine Griezmann set to stay at Atletico Madrid, the Red Devils have been on the lookout for other options and reports say that they are close to finalising a deal for Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata.

Manchester United have already wrapped up their first signing of the summer as they announced a deal for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof. The Sweden international joins the Red Devils in a deal worth £30.7 million and that is expected to be just a small portion of the money Mourinho will be spending.

No official announcement has been made regarding Morata's situation at the moment but Manchester United seems to be going all out to sign the former Juventus striker. Spain recently played an international match and United used that to their favour as they used David De Gea and Ander Herrera to persuade Morata to join them.

And reports say that the striker was convinced after those talks and along with that, Mourinho himself has assured Morata that he will play an important role at Manchester United next season and will become a "leader" in attack. It was during Mourinho's time at Real Madrid that Morata was offered his professional contract and it would be a perfect setting if he were to join him at Old Trafford.

Apart from those two instances, the fact that Morata liked a post on Instagram recently which all but confirmed his move to Manchester United while hinting that he wants both Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez to join him at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos also spoke about his compatriot's future in Madrid and he seemed a bit unsure as to where he will be playing next season. Goal.com quoted Ramos as saying: "It will be seen if Morata leaves. I have a special affection for him and I always wish him the best. It is not up to me if he stays."

The signing of Morata would also see yet another gorgeous WAG make her way to the Premier League. The Spaniard is engaged to Alice Campello and she along with Lindelof's girlfriend Maja Nilsson would become the second beauty to join the already long list of gorgeous WAG's at Manchester United.

Evelina Kamp, Melanie Da Cruz, Candy-Rae Fleur and Francesca Eleonora - partners of Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian respectively are all queens of Manchester and Maja and Alice are expected to join them.
