Akkineni multi starrer "Manam" has crossed the ₹30-crore mark at the worldwide box office.

The film received fantastic feedback and took a good opening in its first weekend. Positive word of mouth has helped the Akkineni starrer to perform well and mint ₹30.85 crore share worldwide, reported Andhraboxoffice. To check out the area-wise collection, click HERE.

"Manam" is the last project of the late legendary actor Nageswara Rao. The film has three generation of actors from the Akkineni family including Nageswara Rao's son Nagarjuna and grandson Naga Chaitanya doing lead roles. ANR's another grandson Akhil (Nagarjuna-Amala's son) also made his film debut by doing a cameo in "Manam."

The film, which deals with the theme of love, earned great reviews from the critics with many calling it a befitting tribute to ANR. Celebrities including Kamal Haasan, Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli also showered praised on the family entertainer.

The film has been successful in wooing family audiences to theatres. It is doing exceptionally well not just in India but also in overseas markets. In the US, the film has turned out to be a smash hit. According to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, "Manam" grossed ₹8.77 crore at the end of the third weekend.

The film has turned out to be the biggest earner for the Akkineni actors. The success of "Manam" led to a huge demand for the film's satellite rights. Several regional channels were reportedly vying to snap the film and buzz is that Gemini TV had acquired the rights.

The film will be remade in Hindi and director Vikram Kumar will reportedly wield the megaphone. However, details about the film's cast and crew are yet to be revealed.

 Directed by Vikram Kumar, "Manam" also has Samantha and Shriya in lead roles. The film's other cast members include M. S. Narayana, Brahmanandam, Ali, Jaya Prakash Reddy and Posan Krishna Murali among others in supporting roles.

The soundtracks of "Manam", composed by Anoop Rubens, are among the major highlights of the film. PS Vinod has handled the cinematography, while editing has been done by Prawin Pudi. The film is produced by the Akkineni family under the Annapurna Studios banner.
