Rana Daggubati, Navdeep, Allari Naresh, Allu Sirish, Lakshmi Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal, Nikhil Siddharth and other Telugu actors had to cancel their fundraiser Mana Madras Kosam for Chennai relief after their fans created a ruckus at Forum Mall on Sunday evening.

Some young Telugu actors recently planned to hold a fundraiser called Mana Madras Kosam. They wanted to collect donations, food, medicine and other relief material for the rain and flood affected people in Chennai and Cuddlore. They had announced that they would meet their fans at Forum Mall in Kukatpally at 4.00 pm, Mangeera Mall at 5.00 pm and Inorbit Mall at 6.00 pm on Sunday.

As announced, Nihikil, Navdeep, Lakshmi, Nani, Sirish, Madhu Shalini, Tejaswi, Manoj, Akhil and others visited the Forum Mall at 4.00 pm. But, the crowd went into a frenzy over taking selfies and autographs from their favourite stars, which resulted in a stampede-like situation on the occasion.

Though the bouncers tried their best to control the mob, their efforts went in vain. This ruckus posed serious threat to the security of the celebs, who were forced to end the fundraiser event abruptly, citing safety reasons.

Later, Nikhil Siddhartha tweeted, "The crowds were uncontrollable at Forum Mall. But I'm sure we got the Mssg across MANA MADRAS.. Save Chennai."

In series of tweets, Lakshmi Manchu wrote, "Went to Forum..we couldn't control the crowd and our safety was at risk. With very very sad heart had to cancel Manjeera and Inorbit. So much work and effort went into putting today together. Pls don't disappoint.. Donate. We will make sure what you have dropped off at the malls is collected immediately. Thankq to the people who were generous."

Actresses like Lakshmi Manchu, Madhu Shalini and Tejaswi Madivada had to cancel their visit to Manjeera and Inorbit Malls due to security reasons. But, the actors went ahead with their plans to collect donations from their fans. Lakshmi Manchu added, "The girls cancelled Manjeera and Inorbit. The Heros will be there. Wait up."

Late in the evening, Navdeep took to his Twitter handle to thank everyone, who donated for the victims of Chennai. He posted a photo featuring the stars at the event Mana Madras Kosam. He also wrote, "We took turns n went to the malls we promised, due to logistic n crowd problems :) thanku all for ur support :)"
