The first-look posters of Tovino Thomas' upcoming sports movie Godha were revealed by megastar Mammootty on Saturday, November 5. The three posters feature the rough and tough looks of Tovino, Renji Panicker and Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi.

"Officially launched the first look posters of the upcoming movie "Godha". All the best to Renji Panicker, Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph and Team! [sic]," the megastar wrote while sharing the posters via his Facebook page.

"Knocked down and forgotten for too long. Its time to rise, its time to get the blood boiling again. ITS TIME TO WRESTLE . . .Here is the official first glimpse of Godha - Official . Thanks to our dearest Mammukka for your love and support by officially launching the posters today :) Expecting all your support and prayers . Thank you :) [sic]," team Godha posted on the movie's social media page.

When the director had earlier revealed the macho avatar of Tovino as a beard-sporting wrestler in the upcoming movie, the actor received fabulous response from his fans who called his transformation as promising. The photo went viral on social media, raising the expectations of viewers from the film.

Godha is the second directorial venture of Basil, who is known for his maiden project, Kunjiramayanam, which opened to a positive response from the audience. Though the Tovino-starrer belongs to a different genre, it is expected to perform well at the box office in Kerala as the actor's recent movies have already impressed the audience.

The movie, based on wrestling, has been scripted by Rakesh Montodi, who is known for his work in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Thira. While Adhinav Sunder Nayak has done the editing, the music has been composed by Shaan Rahman, camera has been handled by Vishnu Sharma. Godha has been bankrolled by Mukesh R Mehta under the banner of E4 Entertainment.
