Manjima to Play Lead Opposite Nivin Pauly
Manjima who sizzled in Malayalam industry as a child artist, popular for her roles in films like "Priyam" and "Madhuranombarakattu", is set to play opposite Nivin Pauly. She had even received State Award for the Best Child Artist for her performance as a child artist.
Manjima is cinematographer Vipin Mohanan's daughter and will now act in an upcoming film directed by Prajith Karanavar, scripted by Vineeth Sreenivasan.
"Both Vineeth and Prajith are like family to me and that is why I decided to start with a familiar team,' said Manjima to Manorama Online
Meanwhile, Vineeth is writing script for a different director for the first time and Prajith have been Vineeth's associate in all his films. The film is set in a village and is about a youngster who faces many problems and how he comes out of it. The film also has Aju Varghese in a prominent role.
This upcoming flick is produced by Vinod Shornur.
Kavya Madhavan to Play as Taxi Driver in Her Next
There were many rumours about Kavya Madhavan's next film. The latest news has confirmed that the talented star will play the role of a taxi driver in Saji Surendran's next flick "She Taxi".
The film will also star Anoop Menon in the lead and its shooting is expected to kick start in October.
"She Taxi" is touted as a comedy entertainer and revolves around three girls are on a trip in a taxi. They come across four men played by Anoop, Suraj Venjaramoodu, P. Balachandran and Noby. What follows is a series of hysterical situations, which forms the crux of the film.
"She Taxi" will also have Ansiba Hassan, Ganesh Kumar and Baiju in pivotal roles. The cinematography of the film is handled by Anil Nair and the music is composed by Bijibal.
Andrea Jeremiah to Star Opposite Mammootty?
Andrea Jeremiah's last Malayalam film was "London Bridge". Latest rumour is that the "Annayum Rasoolum" actress will play lead opposite Mammootty in his next flick "Fireman".
The film is directed by Deepu Karunakaran and Mammootty will play the role of a fireman in it. The film is touted as an action thriller and will be produced by Milan Jaleel under the banner of Galaxy Films.
