Prominent Malayalam music label Muzik247 launched 'Muzik247 Music Maker 2015' on Wednesday, 28 October, to find the best Malayalam music sensation.
The Music Maker 2015 will be given a chance to make a Malayalam single that will be produced by the label.
Who can apply?
Aspiring musicians, aged between 18 and 25, who can sing as well as write and compose songs can apply for the contest.
Where and How to apply?
Musicians can select a cover version of one of songs released by Muzik247 by visiting the official website of the label -- musicmaker.muzik247.in -- and must e-mail it with the filled registration form and ID card to musicmaker@muzik247.in. The last date to submit the entries is 20 November.
Based on the cover versions, 15 finalists will be selected and they will be asked to share their unpublished original composition before 15 December.
Music director Afzal Yusuff will select a winner based on the original compositions. The winner will be assisted in making a studio version of their single as well as a music video of the composition.
