As part of the 5th anniversary celebrations of Mahindra XUV500 in India, the company has announced exciting offers and discounts on purchase of the flagship SUV. Mahindra XUV500, which has been enjoying a successful drive on the Indian roads for the past five years, has clocked sales of over 1.5 lakh units.
XUV500, the recipient of several awards, was launched in the country in September 2011. The seven-seater flagship SUV of Mahindra is now offered with discounts and benefits ranging between Rs 22,000 to Rs 66,000. Besides this, XUV500 also gets extended warranty, accident insurance benefits and optional accessories.
Priced in the range of Rs 12.57 lakh to Rs 18.75 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru), XUV500 comes packed with 2179cc mHawk turbo diesel engine, which can generate 140bhp of power at 3750rpm and 330Nm torque between 1600 and 2800rpm. The transmission is taken care of by either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Offered in seven trims, XUV500 gets optional AWD (all wheel drive) in the top-end W8 and W10 grades. The XUV500 is also available with 1997cc engine with manual and automatic transmission in Delhi NCR.
The top-end variant of the XUV500 gets electric sunroof with anti-pinch and logo-projection lamps on ORVMs. Other features include touchscreen infotainment system with USB/GPS/Bluetooth connectivity, 6-way power adjustable driver's seat, tilt power steering, power foldable and adjustable ORVMs and projector headlamps.
