Mahindra's all new compact SUV S101 is expected to hit the Indian showrooms some time this year. The model which, is being rigorously tested in the country, has been caught on camera once again and this time revealing the interiors of the SUV.

Mahindra S101 was caught on camera dozens of times, but the latest spy shot from Autocar India looks interesting and one may add that it gives us the best look yet. From the image, on top of the centre console are two rectangular AC vents with a space down. The reports on web suggest that this space could accommodate a screen. The new S101 is likely to get bench seat in the front.

S101, a sub-four metre compact SUV, is built on a new monocoque platform and is likely to get power from Mahindra's newly-developed engines and we also hear that there is also an AMT on offer. The features expected include anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, four airbags and electronic stability programme.

Mahindra's new engine line-up includes 1.2 litre diesel and petrol motors, 1.6 litre diesel and petrol units, 1.5-litre diesel and there is also 1.5 litre petrol and a 1.0-litre petrol engine. The model is likely to be priced around ₹5 lakh.

Mahindra is also testing the facelifted avatar of its Quanto in the country. Caught on camera recently, Quanto facelift is likely to pack the same 1.5-liter three-cylinder diesel engine, which can pump in 100bhp at 3,750rpm and 240Nm of torque between 1,600-2,800rpm.
