Mahindra Two Wheelers has announced the launch of its new scooter Rodeo UZO 125 in India with a price tag of ₹47,957 (ESR Delhi).

Rodeo UZO 125, the sportier variant of the Rodeo RZ, gets power from the same 125cc engine, which is tuned to pump out 8.04 bhp (6 KW) power and 9 Nm of torque, coupled to continuously varying transmission (CVT). The scooter promises a mileage of 59 kmpl.

The highlight of Mahindra's new scooter is its stylish racing style body graphics and coloured wheels .It  further gets specially crafted dual texture seat to minimize slippage when accelerating and breaking. Rodeo UZO 125 packs digital dashboard with speedometer, tachometer, odometer, tripmeter, fuel indicator, clock, high speed alarm accelerometer and for the riders who are looking for a quick charge, there is also an easily accessible charging point.

Mahindra's new Rodeo UZO 125 comes in four body colours- Racetrack Black, Colt Black, Victory Violet and Blazing Blue and it comes equipped with 4-in-1 anti-theft key and storage capacity of 22 litres.

 "The Rodeo UZO 125 redefines the scooter segment on many fronts, setting new benchmarks on performance, technology, features, convenience and style. The UZO 125 is made especially for the youth looking to own a scooter that reflects their winning style and modern outlook," said Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheeler Ltd.

The company will also be launching its new 110cc scooter in India in this year. Mahindra's first 110cc segment scooter code-named, G101 scooter is likely to come with a single cylinder air cooled four stroke 106.7cc engine, which can pump in a power of 8.5 PS and peak torque of 8.5 Nm, coupled to a CVT. The scooter is likely to promise fuel efficiency of over 60kmpl. It is expected to get features like MRF Nylogrip tyres, telescopic front forks, a new instrument console, an analogue fuel gauge and archetypal switch-gear.
