Mahesh Babu's "1-Nenokkadine" is likely to be released in around 200 screens in overseas markets, reported Gulte.

Apparently, Mahesh is keen on "1-Nenokkadine" getting maximum number of screens for a worldwide release during Sankranti next year. In particular, the superstar of Telugu cinema wants his film to be screened in more number of theaters in overseas circuits.

A source told Gulte that the makers of "1-Nenokkadine" were initially planning to release the film in 100 screens abroad. But now they have changed their plans and likely to release the film in 200 screens. According to reports, the makers have already booked 900 theatres in Andhra Pradesh alone to ensure that the film gets a massive opening upon release.

Directed by Sukumar, "1-Nenokkadine" is deemed as a psychological thriller with Mahesh Babu and debutant Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The film also has an ensemble cast including Sayaji Shinde, Kelly Dorji, Srinivasa Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali, Pradeep Rawat and Nassar among others.

The shooting of "1-Nenokkadine" is progressing at a brisk pace in India. Mahesh and the film's cast and crew are in Goa for the final schedule of the film. There are reportedly two songs and some patch work left to finish the last shedule. However, the film's post-production work has already begun to ensure that the film releases as per shedule.

The Sukumar directorial is likely to hit the screens on 10 January 2014, a few days ahead of Sankranti. The film might face strong competition from other Telugu biggies including Allu Arjun's "Race Gurram" and Niithin's "Heart Attack", which might be released around the same time.

"1-Nenokkadine" is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under 14 Reels Entertainment. Cinematography is handled by R. Rathnavelu, whereas the film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The audio launch is expected to happen in December, though there is no official confirmation in this regard.
