Mumbai/ Pune, Jan 27 (ANI): In a rare honour, Maharashtra government has decided to accord a state funeral to legendary cartoonist RK Laxman, creator of the iconic :The Common Man". Laxman died at the age of 94 after suffering multi-organ failure. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, who will attend the last rites of Laxman said that the state government will build a memorial for the late cartoonist. Meanwhile, Bollywood filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar said that the nation has lost the voice os common man with RK Laxman. The legendary cartoonist, who immortalized the hapless 'Common Man' with his devastating swipes at politicians, passed away on Monday at a city hospital after suffering multi-organ failure.
