Popular lyricist Kaviraj has turned director with "Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole" and the movie stars budding actor Suraj Gowda and Amulya in the lead roles. This is Suraj Gowda's first movie as the lead actor.
The romantic-comedy entertainer marks Kaviraj's debut as a director. He has until now penned over 1000 songs and won numerous awards. For "Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole", Kaviraj has written the story and screenplay and has also penned the songs.
Challenging Star Darshan's home banner Thoogudeepa Productions has bankrolled the project. V Harikrishna has composed the music and two songs from the film are already topping charts. While KS Chandrashekhar has handled the camera, KM Prakash has edited the movie.
The makers have promoted the movie well so that it reaches all sections of the audience. The movie was first launched on Kannada comedy show "Majaa Talkies" and its audio was released on Kiccha Sudeep's "Bigg Boss 3".
"Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole" is a love story revolving around marriage. While Suraj Gowda plays the role of a happy-go-lucky guy, Amulya has a tomboyish character. Veteran actor Ananth Nag plays an important role.
