Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan didn't have the most amicable of breakups and therefore, there was a sense of awkwardness between the two for quite a few years. The good news is that they are way ahead of their past and are now looking forward to greater times with respective spouses.
While Kapoor is father to a few-months-old daughter Misha, Khan is eight months pregnant. Backstage at the Lux Golden Rose Awards 2016, the former couple took a few minutes to congratulate each other on new beginnings, SpotboyE reported.
An eye witness saw them hugging it out outside the water closets. Kapoor was waiting to enter the stage for his performance, when Khan stepped in to use the washroom. The two, although they have worked in Udta Punjab together, were never back-slapping buddies ever since they quit their three-year-long relationship in 2007.
While a rift in one of the relationships was straightened out at the award show, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, who are known not to share a warm rapport, reportedly gave each other the cold shoulder.
Rumour has it that the Jagga Jasoos actress entered the premises late and only stayed for her performance and award. On the other hand, Padukone stayed on till even after the show ended. At the after-party, she cheered the host of the night, Shah Rukh Khan, who decided to dance like no one's watching.
