New Delhi/ Nagpur, Mar 9 (ANI): A month ahead of Lok Sabha polls, the internal strife within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came out in open when the party announced its second list of candidates in a meeting. During the meeting which was attended by BJP's top brass, senior party leaders Sushma Swaraj and Murli Manohar Joshi questioned party president Rajnath Singh for allegedly trying to force Joshi out of Varanasi. Sources present at the party meeting said that Varanasi parliamentary seat was a major point of contention in the meeting. Joshi, the sitting MP from Varanasi asked Rajnath to make clear whether the Varanasi seat be given to him or not. Reacting on the same, NCP Leader Tariq Anwar said that the day BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was projected; there were speculations of disturbance within the party. He also added that Modi has a dictator attitude. Further, Congress Spokesperson Satyavrat Chaturvedi said that Sushma and Advani are worried about the people, who by somehow or the other means want to gain power. Meanwhile, BJP Leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that his party will discuss the matter in a meeting.
