English author Terry Pratchett once said: "In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this." While we don't know about other cats, we are pretty sure that designer Karl Lagerfeld's cat must be feeling like God right now.

It is a widely known fact that Lagerfeld, the creative director of Chanel, is extremely fond of his cat Choupette. Not only is he often seen cuddling the ball of fur, Choupette even has her own Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts with a large number of followers. But the German designer has now taken his Choupette-love a step further and is launching a stuffed toy cat after her, which will set you back by $538.

The toy version of Choupette is limited edition and made in collaboration with Steiff, a Germany-based plush toy company.

"Choupette is such a famous and beautiful cat that when this request came to me, I was not even surprised," WWD quoted Lagerfeld as saying. "Steiff is the perfect choice for this kind of collaboration. It's the only company that has the required expertise to highlight the extreme and absolute refinement of this young princess."

Available in just 2,000 units, the toy Choupette is 16-inches in length and comes with white faux-fur and adorable blue eyes.

For now, the stuffed toy will be available on Karl Lagerfeld's stores and the online site and will later also go on sale on Steiff stores and its online site.

Meanwhile, this is not Choupette first encounter with fame. The Birman has a book after her titled "Choupette: The Private Life of a High-Flying Fashion Cat," which documents her life as an A-list pet. The 128-page book also has section on beauty, diet, lifestyle, fashion, and international travel in a private jet.

If that isn't enough to make you envy the cat, Choupette also has two maids, an iPad and even eats at the table from customised Louis Vuitton and Goyard crockery.
