New Telugu movies "Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi" (LOL), "Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu" (SARS) and "Kalavathi", which are hitting screens on 29 January, are set to affect the collection of Sankranti releases.

"Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi" is a comedy thriller film, which has been creating ripples in the media for long time. The movie is written and directed by director SS Rajamouli's protege Jagadish Talasila, who is making his debut as a director. Actor Naveen Chandra and actress Lavanya Tripathi are playing the lead roles in the movie.

Sai Prasad Kamineni, who is making debut as a producer, is producing "Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi" under his banner Mayukha Creations. Popular music director MM Keeravani is composing the music for the sound tracks and background score of the film, while Eshwar Yellumahanthi handled the camera work.

"Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu" is a romantic entertainer, which is written and directed by debutant director Srinivas Gavireddy. The film is produced by S Shailendra Babu, KV Sridhar Reddy and Harish Duggisetti. Raj Tarun and Aarthana are playing the lead roles in the movie, which has Gopi Sundar's music.

"Kalavathi" is a horror comedy film and it is the dubbed version of Tamil movie "Aranmanai 2", which has been written and directed by Sundar C. Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika Motwani, Sundar, Soori, Kovai Sarala and Manobala are playing the lead roles in the movie, which has Hiphop Tamizha's music and UK Senthil Kumar's cinematography.

The promos of all three movies have garnered a lot of attention and accelerated viewers' expectations very high. These movies will be released in over 1000 screens together across the globe this Friday. The movies are sure to snatch a large chunk of the screen count of Sankranti releases "Nannaku Prematho", Soggade Chinni Nayana (SCN), "Express Raja" and "Dictator".

"Nannaku Prematho", Soggade Chinni Nayana (SCN), "Express Raja" and "Dictator" were released during the Sankranti festival and received massive response in the first week. Since there was no new release in their second week, they have continued to do well. They have collected over Rs 165 crore together at the worldwide box office, but their dream run may be halted in the third week.
