Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is impressed with the Telugu movie "Loafer", could not stop praising director Puri Jagannadh, actor Varun Tej, actress Disha Patani, Revathi and Posani Krishna Murali.
"Loafer", one of the most awaited Telugu films of the year, is a mass entertainer film that hit the screens around the world today. As usual, soon after watching the movie, Ram Gopal Varma took to Twitter to share his verdict on the film this afternoon.
Ram Gopal Varm said "Loafer" a is a good entertainer with all the mass elements nicely blended. The filmmaker, a close friend of Puri Jagannath, tweeted: "Just saw Loafer..it's a full on commercial mass masala sentimental entertainer with a very correct mix of music, drama and action. (sic)"
The filmmaker said Varun Teja has a wonderful role designed by Puri, and has done justice to it. He wrote: "Seeing the speedy variation of Varun in Mukunda,Kanche and now especially "Loafer" I have no doubts that he's the next Mega Star. (sic)"
Ram Gopal Varma also said Puri failed to use the talent of Disha. He tweeted, "Revathy and Posani are terrific in "Loafer" and so is Sunil Kashyap's background music. Disha is the best heroine I saw in years though in " Loafer"her potential has not been used to the fullest owing to character limitations. (sic)"
He said Varun Tej is sure to become a top contender for other Mega family heroes, like Ram Charan Teja, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish and Sai Dharam Tej. Varma concluded: "In Loafer the character Jagan designed for Varun will surely catapult him to Mega Stardom far ahead of the other Mega contenders. (sic)"
"Loafer" has been written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by C Kalyan. The film has garnered mixed reviews from viewers, who are impressed with everything in the film except its routine story. However, Ram Gopal Varma has not mentioned anything about its story.
