Sun Yanan is the same wrestler who fought Vinesh Phogat at the Rio 2016 Olympics in the match which saw the Olympics 2016 dream of Vinesh coming to an end as she was pictured lying on the mat, writhing in pain.

"I'm not that very pleased to win the bronze medal without even fighting, but anyway I'm happy to win it. It would have been better if I would have fought her," said the 23-year-old Ritu after her match.

"I arrived here to win the gold medal, but nevertheless, the bronze medal still matters a lot."
