Rajinikanth's "Lingaa" has made₹ 200+ crore even before its release. The Tamil movie produced by Rockline Venkatesh has been acquired by Eros International.
Producer Rockline Venkatesh sold the entire distribution rights of all the three versions (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) of "Lingaa" to Eros International. It is reported that the deal has been struck for ₹ 120 crore.

"Lingaa" is an action-thriller directed by KS Ravikumar. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty are playing the female lead roles in the Tamil movie, which is releasing this Friday,12 December.
It is a semi-period movie written by Kannada director and former associate of KS Ravikumar, Pon Kumaran. It has AR Rahman's music, Rathnavelu's cinematography and Samjith Mhd's editing.
