South Korean consumer electronics major LG on Monday unveiled a new big-screen smartphone called Optimus GK, with features similar to its bigger sibling Optimus G Pro sans the physical form.

LG Optimus GK sports a 5.0-inch Full HD zero-gap touch screen with 1920x1080p display resolution and pixel density close to 440 ppi (pixels per inch). It runs on the Android mobile OS v4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series based quad-core processor with 1.7GHz CPU speed.

The new smartphone also houses 2GB RAM, 16GB storage space with options of expanding up to 64GB via microSD card.

Considering the overall spec details of the LG Optimus GK, it makes a good competitor to Samsung Galaxy S4 was recently rolled out to the international market. As of now, there is no word regarding Optimus GK's price and its date of availability.
