After launching X Screen and X Camera at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in February, LG has unveiled four new X series phones — X Power, X Max, X Mach and X Style on Friday.

The company has not detailed the complete specifications of the phones, but revealed a few key features to evoke excitement among fans ahead of the official release.

LG X Power, as the name suggests, boasts of a high capacity 4100mAh battery with fast charging (PE+) technology, which is said to be twice the normal speed.

On the other hand, the X Mach is said to support LTE Cat.9 with up to 450mbps download speed. It also comes with QHD IPS screen with 2560x1440p resolution and a 1.55μm sensor camera to take high quality pictures under low-light condition.

The high light of the new X Max is that it will sport a massive screen with high pixel density to offer rich viewing experience. On the other hand, the X Style will come with an ultra-slim curved body, LG said.

"Each X series smartphone pairs perfectly with its user by offering uncompromising quality and one truly outstanding feature that speak the user's personal preference and lifestyle — all at a great value," Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and the Mobile Communications Company, said in a statement.

"The newly expanded X series demonstrates LG's commitment to offering top flight performance with premium features at a satisfying price," Cho added.

The company has announced that all the four new LG X series phones will hit stores in select global markets later this month. The prices of the devices will be revealed during the local launch events.
