After launching its flagship Optimus L7-2 and L3-2 smartphones, South Korean consumer electronics giant LG has now released the second generation Optimus L5-2 into the lucrative Indian mobile phone market.

LG Optimus L5-2 sports a 4.0-inch IPS WVGA display with 800x480p resolution and it runs on Android mobile OS v4.1.2 Jelly Bean powered by a single core processor with 1GHz CPU speed. It packs 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory with options of expanding up to 32GB via microSD card.

The new mid-range smartphone houses a 5.0-megapixl camera with LED flash support sans the secondary camera on the front.

LG Optimus L5-2 is currently available through e-retailer Infibeam for ₹11, 499. On Flipkart, sales of the new smartphone are yet to begin.
