LG's recently launched Optimus G Pro phablet is now up for grabs at an online store in India for a cheaper price.
The company had launched the new phone for ₹42,500 this week. The very device is now available for much lesser price of ₹38,990 at popular e-retailer website Flipkart.
LG Optimus G Pro(E988) sports a 5.5-inch IPS Plus LCD screen with full HD 1920x1080p display resolution having pixel density close to 400 pixels per inch and runs on the Android mobile OS v4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
Under the hood, it packs a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series quad-core processor with Adreno 320 graphics engine and houses 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
The new LG smartphone will also come with smart features seen in Galaxy S4 such as Smart Pause video playback, which tracks users' eye movement to automatically pause and resume right back when he/she turns to the screen. It also includes a dual-recording feature which allows users to capture videos with both front and rear cameras simultaneously for a picture-in-picture experience. Other mentionable features include QSlide, QuickMemo and QRemote.
Considering its price-tag, the new phablet will be pitted against Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2, Lenovo K900, HTC One, HTC Butterfly, Sony Xperia Z and BlackBerry Z10.
The South Korean firm initially launched Optimus G Pro in its home country in mid-February and was later released in North America in April.
