LG Electronics is set to release the G Flex 2 smartphone with curved display, 64-bit processingReuters

LG is set to release the second generation curved display smartphone G Flex at International Consumer Electronics Show, 2015.

The LG G Flex was released in late 2013 and sported a flexible 6-inch display and was priced at whopping Rs. 69,990. The LG G-Flex is the first smartphone to feature a curved flexible display on a Smartphone.

According to a recent report, the G-Flex 2 is about to feature a 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which combines a Quad-Core Cortex A57 CPU running at 1.9GHz and another Quad-Core 1.5GHz Cortex A53 CPU.

The LG G Flex 2 may also feature 4G LTE connectivity with tri-band carrier capability. The 3-Band LTE-A chipset has four-time faster connectivity speeds than any regular 4G capable chipset.

The report doesn't mention anything on the detail hardware specification but its likely that LG G Flex 2 will feature the smaller screen (between 5.5-inch to 5.9-inch) with 2K or 4K resolution.

The featured SoC suggests the LG G Flex 2 might pair a 3GB RAM chipset and 32GB or 64GB memory on board. The camera of LG G Flex 2 should count above 13MP with an impressive sensor and the phone might retain the self-healing feature of the previous generation.
