LG L80 Dual with Android 4.4 KitKat Launched In India; Price, Specs, Availability Details

LG India seems to be gearing up to launch a new smartphone in the country. The company's India website has listed a new handset dubbed LG L80 Dual with a price tag of ₹17,500.

LG L80 Dual Android smartphone, the latest in the LG's L-Series line-up boasts a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and is shipped with latest Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. The handset was first introduced back in February at MWC along with L40, L70 and L90. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor (unspecified chipset) paired with 1GB of RAM and the Adreno 302 GPU.

On the connectivity front, the new LG smartphone supports 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi 802 b/g/n and comes loaded with 2540 mAh battery. The handset has 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable by upto 32GB and houses 5-megapixel camera,  along with VGA Front Camera. The smartphone measures 138.2x74.3x9.7mm and is available in Black and White colour variants. LG L80 Dual comes with Knock Code, Nimbuzz and Quick Window.

Meanwhile, LG unveiled 2014 flagship smartphone G3 on Tuesday in London. It sports 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560x1440p) display and is powered by 2.5GHz Snapdragon processor along with Adreno 330 graphics. On the software front, the handset runs on Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS and houses 13.0-megapixel camera with OIS+ along with 2.1-megapixel front camera. Other features of the handset include 3,000 mAh battery, Bluetooth Smart Ready (Apt-X), NFC, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) connectivity and 2GB RAM.

LG G3 will hit the Korean market on 28 May. However the company is yet to release the price and global availability of the handset.
