South Korean consumer electronics company LG has started accepting pre-orders for the LG G4 smartphone in India. The device is likely to be officially launched in India by the middle of this month.

Those who pre-book the LG G4 before 15 June stand to get a chance to receive the phone from LG brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan. They will also get a metallic finish phone cover and extra battery with charging cradle worth ₹2,000 and ₹3,500 respectively. The new LG G4 was originally unveiled last month. It boasts of a Slim-Arc design language, which runs along its entire body, highlighted by a display with a subtle curvature. The phone will also be available in handcrafted, genuine, full grain leather in six colours.

Besides the leather cover, the LG G4's other USP is its feature-rich 16mp camera on the rear side. It boasts of a wide F1.8 aperture lens that allows 80 percent more light to reach the sensor. To enhance the photography experience under low-light conditions, the company has incorporated OIS 2.0, which doubles the performance of the improved OIS+ by expanding the range of image stabilization from one degree to two degrees on the X- and Y-axis. A third axis is also there, making the LG G4, a top-notch camera phone in the industry. It also houses 8mp snapper on the front.

Other features include- 5.5-inch QHD screen with Quantum Display technology, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 series CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory (expandable) and a 3000 mAh battery.

LG G4 Release Date and Price Details:

The LG G4 sale will be released on 15 June and if Mumbai based smartphone vendor Mahesh Telecom is to be believed, the new leather-glad LG flagship will cost ₹51,500.
