Lenovo's online-only sub-brand ZUK made its debut in China last year and the company is set to enter the Indian market with the launch of Cyanogen OS-powered Z1 on Tuesday.
The event is scheduled to kick-off at 12 p.m. and the company has confirmed that the programme will be streamed online so the fans are able to catch live action from the comforts of home.
Since Lenovo ZUK Z1's specification details are already in the public domain, the company will use this event to unravel the device's price and availability details.
In China, it is priced at ¥1700 (around $276/€250/₹17,860). Word on the street is that Lenovo, in its bid to attract buyers, might sell ZUK Z1 for around Rs 15,000 in India.
If this turns out to be true, ZUK Z1 will certainly give stiff challenge to popular brands such as Micromax YU Yutopia, OnePlus 2 and Asus Zenfone 2, among others.
For those unware, Lenovo's ZUK Z1 comes with a premium metal-frame around the edge and on the front, it sports a 5.5-inch full HD display.
Under the hood, it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC (System-on-Chip), Cyanogen OS, 3GB RAM, fingerprint sensor, premium metal-frame around the edges and a massive 4,100mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for up to 21 days under standby mode.
