After rolling out Android Marshmallow to Vibe P1 last week, Lenovo released the new OS update another Vibe series phone in India on Tuesday.

Anuj Sharma, head of product marketing at Lenovo confirmed on Twitter the news on May 3 that Android Marshmallow is being deployed to the Vibe S1 over the air (OTA) in the country.

How to update OS firmware on Android phone via OTA (Over-The-Air):

Go to Settings >> About phone >> System updates

The roll-out process is reportedly being carried out in phases, so it will take a couple of weeks to reach all corners of India.

The Android Marshmallow update will bring the much-hyped Doze power-optimisation feature, an improved "Now on Tap" search option, silent mode added to the sound profile, more shortcuts, an intuitive boot security system and performance-enhancing tweaks to Lenovo Vibe S1.
