Chinese consumer electronics major is planning to launch the successor of its big-screen Phab Plus in India next week.
The company (via Twitter) announced that it will be announcing a new device on November 8. Though Lenovo's teaser doesn't specifically mention the name of the device, the hash-tag #GoPhab, does give away the hint that the Phab 2 Plus is the mystery handset.
For the uninitiated, the Phab 2 Plus was originally unveiled in June at the Lenovo Tech World show, US. Now, the feature-rich phablet set to hit stores in India.
It sports a massive 6.4-inch full HD display and is powered by MediaTek octa-core processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a 4,050mAh battery, which is enough to keep the phablet running for the whole day.
Besides the mammoth screen, another notable aspect of the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is its camera. It boasts dual-13MP cameras placed one top of the other with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, Laser autofocus and PDAF. On the front, it houses equally impressive 8MP snapper with wide angle field of view and full HD video recording.
As of now, there is no word on how much Lenovo Phab 2 Plus would cost in India, but going by the specifications, it is likely to be priced around 15,000 similar to 6.4-inch Xiaomi Mi Max.
