Lenovo P70 has created quite a stir in the high-end smartphone market, so we decided to compare the handset with the widely popular LG G3.

LG G3 is a prominent flagship smartphone with high-end features, not to mention the expensive price tag. Competition in the market has led smartphone makers to make feature-heavy phones cheaper, so more people get aboard with new companies.

Lenovo, which is known for its PC lineup, recently launched P70 smartphone to bring fright to several high-end smartphones in the market. In this post, we compare both smartphones by their specs, features and prices before you finally decide which one to buy.

LG G3 is a flagship smartphone while Lenovo P70 is targeted more towards the budget smartphone segment. Despite that, the competition between these two phones is a tough one.

Display

LG G3 has a 5.5-inch 1440 x 2560 pixel display with a whopping 534ppi density. Lenovo's P70 is not even close to the LG G3 in this category as it measures 5-inches and sports 720 x 1280 pixels with 294ppi.

For those who wish to go for a bigger, clearer display, LG G3 is the choice.

Camera

Both phones are more or less similar on the camera front. The LG G3 sports a 13-megapixel rear facing camera phase detection, laser auto focus and optical image stabilization. There's a 2.1MP front snapper for selfies. However, the Lenovo P70 gives LG a run for the money with its matching 13MP rear shooter and a much better 5MP front snapper for selfies. Clearly, Lenovo has a better chance at attractive photo enthusiasts with this new entry.

Under the hood

Both phones have different processors but LG outbids Lenovo in the terms of speed. At 2.5GHz drawn from a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, LG G3 is almost 50 percent faster than the 1.7GHz 64-bit Mediatek True8Core-powered Lenovo P70. Comparitively, the G3 is a better phone when it comes to overall performance and less lagging.

Price

Lenovo is clearly the winner in the pricing factor, as it comes for less than half of LG G3's current price. The Indian price of the P70 is still unknown, but the handset is expected to be priced around ₹14,000. The LG G3 is available for ₹36,990 on major online retailers such as Flipkart.
