Lenovo Launches S860 Smartphone with 4000 mAh Battery; Price, Availability Details

Chinese tech giant Lenovo has launched its S860 smartphone in India with a price tag of 21,500.

The S860 smartphone, which made its debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February this year along with S660 and S850, will reach the brick and mortar stores on 3 May. Currently the smartphone is available for preorder at the company's online store at 1,999.

Talking of the features of the Lenovo's new smartphone, it sports 5.3-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution and is powered b y 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM.

The notable feature of Lenovo S860 is its massive 4,000 mAh battery, which claims to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 40 days of standby mode on 3G. It comes with stylish aluminium with brushed metal rear chassis and packs 16GB internal storage (without expandable option).

The handset houses 8.0-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 1.6-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box OS.

On the connectivity front, Lenovo smartphone supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G. The smartphone is offered in Titanium colour variant in the country.

Bundled with stylish design, blazing fast processing speeds and integrated Lenovo proprietary apps, these phones provide customers a great user experience without sacrificing performance," PTI quoted Sudhin Mathur, Director - Smartphones, Lenovo India.
