Lenovo's popular K4 Note budget phablet will go on sale in India in a few hours from now.

The company's official e-commerce partner -- Amazon India -- is hosting a special K4 Note flash sale with VR bundle offer on Tuesday at 2:00 pm.

To provide better perspective on the new Lenovo K4 Note, we have briefly described the five key features of the device, which will help decide to buy the Lenovo phablet or not.

Build quality:

Companies, in their bid to cut costs in making budget phones, tend to use sub-par plastic body. But, Lenovo has taken a different path with K4 Note by incorporating metal alloy around the edges to offer a sturdy structure to withstand accidental drops and also provide a sense of premium.

Even the black-hued polycarbonate-based matte finish shell on the back of K4 Note seems to be of good quality.

Processor, RAM and Storage capacity:

The new K4 Note comes packed with a new MediaTek [MT6753] Octa-core SoC (System-on-Chip) backed by Mali T720-MP3 (up to 450MHz 3D graphics accelerator), sumptuous GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage with the option to expand up to 128GB via microSD card.

[Note: RAM is a very important component in a smart device. It optimises resource utilisation among applications and ensures the phone performs lag-free during multi-tasking or playing power-intensive game. More the RAM capacity, more efficiently the device works.]

K4 Note houses a 13MP camera, same as that of predecessor K3 Note, but image processing is better in the new model.

K4 Note boasts ISOCELL camera sensor with F2.2 Aperture, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), full HD recording capturing ability.

Lenovo K4 Note comes with high-capacity 3300 mAh battery, which is capable of running the phone for close to 292 hours (more than 12 days) under standby mode. Lenovo also claims that the K4 Note users can enjoy 22 hours of 3G talk time.

Finger-print sensor:

Lenovo has ergonomically placed a fingerprint sensor on the rear side (below camera module). With biometric technology in place, K4 Note users will get an additional layer of security to protect data in their smartphones.

Honorable mention:

NFC (Near Field Communication):

NFC is the ultimate short-range data transfer technology. It is a faster version of Bluetooth, wherein they just need to bring two devices close and tap to transfer data.

ANT VR- It is an augmented-reality headgear that converts media content (movies, games, online streaming) into a virtual reality, providing wide-screen cinematic experience dubbed TheaterMax.

For the K4 Note flash sale that will take place on Tuesday, Amazon India has advised users to add ANT VR Glass kit either before or after adding the phone to the cart. [For more details, click HERE]. The e-retailer has also announced that K4 Note flash sale without the VR bundle offer will go live on 20 January.
