Chinese consumer electronics major, Lenovo has launched a new fitness tracker dubbed as HW01 Smart Band in India.
The new Lenovo HW01 Smart Band sports a curved rectangular OLED display with silicone-based wrist band having IP65 water resistant certifications. It is compatible with both Google Android and Apple iOS mobile phones.

Once connected to the companion phones via Bluetooth (v4.2), users will be able to check step count, take photos or control your music on phones, monitor heart rate (every 15 minutes), distance travelled, calories burned, track sleeping hours and also anti-sleep mode, which notifies the users via vibration if he/she dozes off or remain dormant beyond pre-set time of inactivity.
It also notifies users of calls, messages, email, WhatsApp or Facebook updates.
Lenovo HW01 Smart Band price and availability:
As of now, it is available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 1,999 with black colour band option. As a part of promotional campaign, the e-commerce firm is offering special Rs. 200 flat discount if bought using PhonePe mobile wallet and 5 percent additional discount for Axis bank debit/credit card holders.
Competition:
Lenovo's HWO1 Smart Band will be up against popular Xiaomi Mi Band 2 and also act as affordable alternatives to FitBit, among others.
