Long rumoured flagship phone Cool1 Dual with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 series SoC (System-on-Chip) launched in China on Tuesday.
For the uninitiated, Cool1 Dual is the first joint-venture product to come out of the Chinese internet giant LeEco and Coolpad. Last month, the former purchased the 11 percent Coolpad shares from Data Dreamland for 1 .047 billion HKD ($135 million) to increase its share to 28.9-percent and became the biggest stake holder of the smartphone company.
Besides the efficient octa-core CPU, the new Cool1 Dual boasts top notch camera hardware. It features two 13MP snapped with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus)f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording taking ability. On the front, it houses an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and 80-degree field of view.
Other stipulated a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB inbuilt storage, fingerprint sensor and a 4,060mAh battery with fast charging technology.

The company is offering the new phone in two configurations—3GB+32GB storage and another with 4GB+64GB memory for ¥1099 (around $166/€147/Rs. 11,078) and ¥1499 (around $226/€201.07/Rs.15,111), respectively.
Both the models are now available for pre-order in three colour options—gold, rose gold and silver, respectively on Jd.com, Coolpad's official website, LeEco's LeMall and. It will go on sale in China later this month on Aug. 24, Fone Arena reported.
