Just a month after its Supertainment launch event in Mumbai, LeEco is gearing up for another event, named "2Future," in New Delhi on June 8. While there is a lot of anticipation around the upcoming event, with fans waiting to see the next disruptive move from LeEco, rumours are rife about certain announcements that may unfold next week.

LeEco's event themes say a lot about what to expect from the event. Just like "Supertainment" was all about LeEco's entertainment membership package, the upcoming event's 2Future theme suggests a possible launch of products or services that are ahead of their time.

Assuming there will be some announcements related to the products, we can expect LeEco to release the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2, which were recently launched in China. The competition in the budget smartphone space in India is mounting, and with demand growing for better hardware specs at an affordable price. LeEco's Le 1s and Le 1s Eco have been extremely popular among consumers and are selling like hotcakes. It would be an ideal time for LeEco to launch a new set of affordable smartphones to take advantage of the market at its best.

But the rumours are not limited just to the new Le Superphones. Industry veterans believe the upcoming event will reveal the company's plans about its official online store, LeMall, in India. Even though the LeMall.com/in went live early last month, the company hasn't had a chance to talk about it. LeEco's 2Future event could shed more light on the LeMall store in India as well as some products that would be sold through the company's official channel.

There have been reports of LeEco seeking the Foreign Investment Promotion Board's approval to open its single-brand retail stores across India, which means the company won't just talk about its online store but also share valuable insight on its offline presence in the country. With a single-brand retail licence in India, LeEco will be permitted to take the ecommerce route and most likely launch its own e-commerce platform.

But it is all in the rumours unless the company finally confirms the rumours about its upcoming events. Luckily, there isn't going to be a long wait for fans to see what's behind the curtains.
