Lava Iris 402 and 356 Affordable Smartphones Available at Online Stores

It has been almost week since Indian firm Lava International Ltd listed the Iris 402 and 356 smartphones on its website. Now, these two affordable devices have been made available at online stores.

Lava Iris 402 and 356 can now be purchased at popular e-commerce website Flipkart for ₹5,199 and 4,199, restively.

Lava Iris 402 flaunts a 4.0-inch WVGA multi-finger capacitive with 480x800p resolution and packs a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 256 RAM and 512 MB ROM which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card.

It features a 3.0-megapixel camera with flash support on the rear side and a secondary VGA camera.

On the other hand, its less expensive sibling, Iris 356, sports a smaller 3.5-inch HVA screen having 480x320p resolution. In terms of internal hardware components, it packs a1.2GHz dual-core processor with 256MB RAM, 512MB storage space and 1500 mAh battery capacity. It has a 3.5-megapixel camera on the rear side and a VGA camera.

A notable attribute of these two phones is that they ship with the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Most of the budget devices in the market run on either run on older Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Intex Cloud X3 is only other sub-₹5,000 priced smartphone in the current market to feature v4.2 OS.
