Popular smartphone maker Lava's 3G 415 Android smartphone has made online debut in the country with a price tag of ₹5,249.
Although the budget smartphone has seen listed on the company website without mention of price and availability, the e-retailer eBay is selling the handset for ₹5,249. The Lava 3G 415, a dual SIM smartphone sports 4.0-inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM.
As per the listing, the smartphone is shipped with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS and packs 4GB internal memory, which is further expandable by up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Talking of the camera, the new smartphone comes equipped with 5.0-megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front camera. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G and comes loaded with 1,500 mAh Lion Battery, which claims to deliver upto 9 hours & 30 minutes of talktime (3G), upto 9 hours & 40 minutes of talktime (2G) and 200 hours in standby mode. It measures 125mm X 64mm X 10.7mm in size and weighs 119 grams.
Earlier this week, Lava launched an Android KitKat smartphone Lava Iris X1 in the country with a price tag of ₹7,999. The smartphone which competes with Moto E and Micromax's Unite 2 sports 4.5-inch IPS display with 480x854 pixels resolution and is shipped with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box OS. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with 1GB of RAM and comes with 4GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable by up to 32GB with microSD card.
The handset hosts 8.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera. The connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, 3G and Micro-USB and it comes with 1,800 mAh battery.
