After media reports emerged that a Kuwait Airways' pilot had allowed a porn star and her friend entry into the cockpit when the plane was flying at about 33,000 feet, Kuwaiti officials have recalled the pilot to the country and warned him of strict action.

The pilot of the plane, which was carrying 300 people from London to New York, reportedly asked Chloe Mafia, a porn star and a former contestant of X-Factor, to come to the cockpit with another 'glamourous' friend'. They were allowed by the pilot to push control buttons while 'sitting on his lap', Daily Star had reported on Sunday.

The Kuwait government took serious note of the issue and ordered an 'immediate recall' of the pilot from Bangkok, where he was on Sunday, according to Gulf News. "I have ordered a probe to check the reports and the pictures that have been circulating," Kuwait's Communication Minister Isa Al Kindari was quoted as saying.

The 24-year-old actress, whose real name is Chloe Khan, shared pictures of herself in the cockpit and told British newspaper Daily Star that the pilot called himself 'naughty' and claimed he had bedded 'half the stewardesses'.

"The seatbelt signs had just gone off and a stewardess said the pilot wanted us to go to the cockpit. They locked the door and the captain introduced himself and said 'Hi, I'm the naughty pilot'. He said he lets sexy girls in the cockpit, even though he's not supposed to, because he 'made the rules'," the former porn star told the Daily Star.

"He was showing us what each of the buttons did and said we could sit on his knee, wear his cap and fly the plane. I pushed something. I don't know what it did but he said it was fine as the plane flew itself," she added.

It is not clear from the report when the incident took place.

If true, the pilot violated strict aviation rules, put in place following the 9/11 attacks, and compromised the safety of 300 passengers on board.

"If the reports and pictures are proven true, we will take action against those involved and will announce the conclusions to the people of Kuwait," Kindari said.

Kuwait Airways also said that it would conduct a "full investigation" in to the issue.
