Zee TV's popular "Kumkum Bhagya" has always kept its viewers hooked to the TV sets with interesting twists and turns.

While Pragya (Sriti Jha) is on a serious mission to unveil the father of Tanu's (Leena Jumani) unborn child, her and Abhi's (Shabbir Ahluwalia) fights and their constant efforts to outdo each other has always brought some comic relief to the show.

However, in the upcoming episodes, a shocking twist awaits the viewers when Pragya's sister Bulbul will be murdered.

According to a Telly Masala video, in the upcoming episodes, Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) will get to know that Pragya and Abhi are in danger and in order to save them, she would sacrifice her life.

Recently, there were rumours that Mrunal has put down her papers and is quitting the show due to the unending track of Abhi-Pragya.

Further, there were reports that Mrunal was offered the lead role in new show "Siya Ke Ram" but had to let it go when producer Balaji telefilms and the channel didn't approve of her leaving "Kumkum Bhagya". She initially agreed to stay, but after another reported fall out with the producers, the actress quit the show.

With this, it appears like the makers of "Kumkum Bhagya" are not willing to replace Mrunal's character with any other actress but end the character itself.
