Shikha Singh, who plays the role of Aaliya in Zee TV's "Kumkum Bhagya", is all set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend Karan Shah, a pilot by profession.
According to The Times of India, Shikha and Karan have been dating for four years now and the two are set to get married in May.
For quite some time now, rumours of Shikha dating Karan have been doing the rounds. However, it was only recently that the actress opened up on her relationship. Shikha told the daily that she met Karan in a gym and a few days ago she accepted his marriage proposal.
"I met Karan in the gym one day when I was helping a friend with his workout. That's when I realised we stayed in the same building," Shikha told the daily. "We were friends for almost two years and then decided to take it a step further. A week ago, he proposed casually on the lunch table when his parents were present and I accepted," she added.
It will be a Gujarati wedding for the couple and the preparations for the special day have already begun. "I have already bought a Gujarati panetar for myself," Shikha said.
The gorgeous actress, who is quite active on Instagram, often shares pictures of the two travelling to different places.
Meanwhile, on "Kumkum Bhagya", Shikha's character Aaliya was exposed by Pragya (Sriti Jha) in front of the Mehra family. Pragya is now on a mission to collect evidence against Tanu. In the upcoming episodes, Pragya will don a different look in order to stop Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) from marrying Tanu (Leena Jumani).
