Shikha Singh, who played the role of Aaliya on "Kumkum Bhagya," is likely to re-enter the show. Shikha had quit the television series as she was apparently not happy with the way her character was shaping up after she rejoined the show post her wedding.
It was said that when Shikha went on a break after she got married in May, the makers had focused the story on characters Nikhil (Nikhil Arya), Tanu (Leena Jumani) and Pragya (Sriti Jha). However, even after Shikha resumed shoot, the show had been revolving around the trio as the track has been garnering good ratings. This apparently upset Shikha, who decided to take the exit route.
However, according to the Times of India, the makers are planning to bring Shikha back and if the deal falls in place, Shikha's character Aaliya will be seen returning on the show to wreak havoc in Pragya's life. With this, it appears like there is no end to the troubles being faced by Pragya.
Meanwhile, "Kumkum Bhagya" is revolving around Pragya trying to reveal Tanu's truth to Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia). Recently, Pragya had approached Tanu's gynaecologist for a DNA test of Tanu's unborn child so as to find out who the father of the child is.
Although the test report revealed that Abhi is not the father of Tanu's baby and the viewers were hopeful that Pragya would finally expose Tanu, the latter managed to convince Abhi that he is the father of her unborn child this time as well by producing a fake DNA test report.
It now remains to be seen how Pragya manages to expose Tanu. Also, with Shikha's character Aaliya re-entering the show, it will be interesting to be see how the story unfolds in the upcoming episodes.
